This weekend, on Saturday, we went to the Tate Gallery in London, which is supposed to be free, but you had to pay £3 to see Dali's paintings, which we obviously didn't do. But I bought a book about the gallery for my father. Then, they dropped us in Oxford Street, far from Piccadilly Circus, so we could have a short time shopping. The street was too crowded! Who had the brilliant idea of going shopping to London on Saturday? Anyway, I bought trousers(£30).
Sunday was a dull day, we had to wake up at the same time as usual, do some boring activities and in the evening there was the sports day, a contest in which my team ended in 3rd position!

Yesterday we went on an excursion to London. We visited the British Museum and the Science Museum. The British Museum was quite bigger than the Science Museum, and its design was more classical. The inside was all right, but i found the science museum more interesting, and also more colourful. Anyway, we all got bored in both of them, and stood in the rain waiting for the coaches, so the excursion was finally disgusting. It's the third time we go to London and we still haven't had time to go shopping!

What has changed during this week?
During this week, we are 30 people less in the school, which makes a big difference. The "old" students have lost last weekend many good friends, girlfriends or boyfriends :( and the ambiance at school is not as lively as before. But every day in Queenswood is a little bit better, isn't it? ;) And the new students are nice as well.
However, it seemed that the school would work better, but it hasn't changed a lot. Basically, everything is organised as it used to be the first two weeks. There are even things that have gone worse, like breakfast isn't later on Sundays. Anyway, the sun shines a bit more these least days.

Last Saturday we were in Cambridge after 1h30 spent in a coach. There were masses of students from other schools and different countries. The choice of the place, as you see, is not very original although the town is very beautiful. We could appreciate the nice, ancient architecture from the 16Th century.

We had a tour on a boat, which was difficult to punt with this long stick. All the boats were crashing between each other. After 45 minutes, those who were pushing while others were looking around got good stomach muscles but were very tired.
Once the tour finished, we made a treasure hunt without having lunch. We were promised to have a special prize for the winner : a chocolate medal. We finished at the 3rd place.

My very first impressions of the site were nice : it looks like an old, typical, English school (see the bricks) ; the very green campus is huge, there are many tennis courts (but the surface is rubbish) and a lot of outdoors activities can be practiced.

But the organisation was just a big mess ! Timetables given to us were not respected and sometimes we didn't know what we were supposed to do as for the first trip to London on Wednesday.

We were very satisfacted with the quality, the taste and the variety of the food. However, it's still difficult for us to have dinner at 6 pm without anymore until going to bed !

Yesterday evening we did an excursion to bowling which cost us £10, just for one play, supposed to cost £4... Something we can't understand : where have the £6 left gone ? We got ripped off !
